Central Otago – The Burgundy of the South
Twelfth Night Wines, under the superb management of its French winemaker and vineyard manager, Antony Worch, is committed to producing the best of the cool climate varietals that New Zealand wine is known for. Showcasing the best of New Zealand red wines, Central Otago Pinot Noir is world renowned for its dark fruit, earthiness and spice and is often well deservedly called the Burgundy of the South. Twelfth Night Pinot Noir exudes all of these qualities in a New World New Zealand Pinot Noir worthy of praise from Allen Meadows, a celebrated Pinot Noir and Burgundy expert.
The Finest Cool Climate White Wines
Not to be outdone, New Zealand white wines also shine – especially the aromatic whites produced by Twelfth Night including a dry, floral Central Otago Riesling, a luscious Late Harvest Gewurztraminer and a citrusy, refreshing Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The portfolio is rounded out with a bright and fruity Pinot Noir Rosé with fruit from the beautiful terraces of Twelfth Night’s Cromwell Basin 25 hectare vineyard. All of the wines are lovingly produced from grapes hand harvested from the sustainably farmed vineyard and handcrafted in Twelfth Night’s Alexandra winery. Each of Twelfth Night’s wines is perfect for pairing with your favorite foods or sharing with friends and loved ones.
